Mission of the Southern California
Yachting Association (SCYA) is to provide an organization
for the support and promotion of amateur, recreational and pleasure yachting
in Southern California by providing an organization and a forum to foster
local, regional, national and international yachting competition, coordinate
race schedules, activities and regattas, conduct seminars, and provide
training and education on race management and safety at sea.

Recreational
Boaters of California
(RBOC), During the course of a Legislative session, Recreational Boaters of California
(RBOC) monitors the proceedings in
the State Capitol. The organization reviews each of the thousands of bills as they are introduced in the Assembly
and Senate, and each time they are amended. With the participation of the organization's professional legislative
advocates, Recreational Boaters identifies those measures, which, if passed and enacted into law, would have an
impact on boating. Usually, several dozen specific measures are introduced each year that address boating.
Dana Point Boaters
Association (DPBA) This group's goal is to share information, facts, data, recommendations..., brainstorming possible solutions, and make our own recommendations to various appropriate organizations.
The group is intended to be made up of boaters that routinely make use of the harbor or intend to use the harbor for recreational boating. We welcome other interests to join the group but only to make sure that we have accurate information and facts.
