 So, it's a nice day, the wind is blowin' a perfect course and,
heck, we're this far, let's go to Avalon! But who is that down
below that says we don't have any food on board, much less booze? A
party pooper? You frown, then you remember!

Catalina Ave! Nope! They're gone but there's the "new" Vons (okay, the old Safeway!
but to some of us, it wasn't there yesterday). Don't fret, sometimes
it's easier just to go over with the minimal amount of stuff on the boat
and shop for what you need when you need it.
At least its a bit of
the ol' exercise and prices are comparable to the mainland. So
there you go! Most stores in Avalon accept credit cards and there are
ATM's now available.
