 Slips:
There are 7 boat basins
in Long Beach, all operated by the City of Long Beach. Boats
ranging from 18 feet to 124 feet are accommodated.. Wooden dock slip rent
includes dock boxes and free water and power. Telephones can be installed
for a nominal fee and there is parking for over 2,700 vehicles utilizing
a parking sticker system for boat owners..
Amenities include ice, private
showers and heads, dock carts and a pump out stations. All heads are accessed
with a card key. Washers and Dryers
are provided at the Downtown Marina.
We were contacted and told to refer to the official website at http://www.ci.long-beach.ca.us/lbmarina/index.htm
regarding slip fees and rates but have now found that it has been discontinued.

Slips
Call for current rates and availability.
All slips are rented on a month to month basis. There are waiting lists
for all slip sizes. You may stop by one of the marina offices, call, or
e-mail and we will mail a slip application to you.
Our slips accommodate recreational vessels ranging from 18 feet to 90
feet. Commercial vessel up to 200 feet may be moored. Most of the slips
in Long Beach are constructed of wood and come with a private dock box,
water and power. Telephones may be installed for a nominal fee and all
recreational boaters receive parking passes for their vehicles.
We have private boat owner parking for our recreational slips, sparkling
clean private showers and heads, free use of City provided dock carts
and free head pump-out equipment. Ice machines, nearby shopping, and
laundry facilities (at some locations) are available . |
Slips are rented on a month-to-month
basis and there are slips available now. Applications are available from
the Marina office, phone or email.

Guest
Slips
There are 2,600 feet of
guest boat docking available year-round. in Long Beach. The rental
fee is 60 cents per foot, per night. Arrangement for a guest slips may
be made at the office on the end of the point at the entrance to the marina
or by phone. Reservations are secured by check and are highly recommended
for holiday weekends. The Harbor Master monitors VHF Channel 16.
The Downtown Shoreline Marina construction has been
completed. Give them a call at
(562) 570-6555. Rates are
$ .75 a foot.
Guest ties are available in Alamitos Bay Marina,
please call Eric at (562) 570-3212.
They will need your current registration in your name, (you can fax it to
them at (562) 570-3247) and the payment of .75 cents per foot (you can use your
