Guest Docks: There is a Harbor Department Guest Anchorage at the first bend on the north side by the Harbor Patrol and Coast Guard Base. Also, check with the yacht clubs for reciprocals.

Marinas: There are a number of small marinas located throughout Newport Harbor. Moorings are individually owned, check the local papers for sale ads.

The largest marina is Newport Dunes, located beyond the Pacific Coast Highway bridge, thus limiting its tenancy to power boats with limited height clearances. The marina, in conjunction with the Newport Dunes Resort offers not only the expected services to boaters, but also a grocery store, bayside restaurant, launch ramps and watersports.
